Cherry-blossom trees at Burrard Station.

I could not get enough of these trees!

This is taken with my 50mm 1.8. I had a closer shot with the 28-80 (came with the camera), but the quality isn't even CLOSE to this. Just goes to show that you really get what you pay for with lenses...

Soft, beautiful and pink : ) reminds me of my girl...
Wonderful focus - seems this branch is haloed by quite the bouqet of flowers.

beautiful flowers... beautiful shot! I love that lens... I have been so amazed at the sharpness I've gotten out of it, I really should use it more :)

back to the shot though, very cool focus... it's really what makes this shot unique for me! plus the dark silhouette of those branches streaking through all that pink in the background... offers some really nice contrast!

i'm not much of one for pink but i've been finding myself using it more in my stuff. i guess color is growing on me. and in this piece it just works. makes it all gentle, soft and loving. excellent piece :+fav:

I really like this shot. :) This is a lovely shot. I love the blackness of the tree trunk, and I loove the softness of the pinks in this shot. I dunno. I just find this to be a beautiful shot overall. :) Good work.
