the expression and colour really make it. poor girl. i wont ride the rides by myself, so she's braver than me. i'd rather just consider it and walk away. it's so much more fun to be scared together than by yourself.

the warning is a bit distracting, but i think the colour matches the seat enough and contrasts against her to an extent that its fine. but that's just me and my weird self.

even just looking at this makes me want a hug, like i'm somehow a larger version of her, or she's a smaller version of me. how sad! i guess the whole of the shirt, the glitter, the sunny day, the brilliant colours, and even the smiling people behind her are what make the impact of her being so withdrawn as intense as it is. god, i'm rambling but the more i look at it the more it strikes me. it matches one of my favourite songs, which, i suppose i hate using lyrics to express things from time to time, but it fits here:
