I'll be back once in a while. I've been feeling better about my photography lately now that I've given up trying to follow the rules and just posting what I think looks neat and I enjoyed photographing.

Lately...

Knitting is more fun that photography lately. And since the weather has been pretty unpredictable (and just plain COLD for June!), it's a better hobby right now.

Plus that way I don't have to be creative. :P

Okay, it's been a long time since I updated this journal, but I actually have news! One of my photos is going to be on display (and for sale ;) ) at the Yaletown Art Gallery ([link]) from Feb 29 to March 14. Stop by and check it out if you live in or near Vancouver, or come say hi at the opening on Feb 29!

I've also put up a few new pictures. I might start posting some old one soon, so they probably will be out of order and random, but there ya go. :)

Home Again!

I'm back after 7 fan-freaking-tastic weeks in Thailand!

There are a lot of pictures (not as many as I SHOULD have taken, but lots none the less), and I like a large portion of them so I will be posting some here, some at Flickr and the snap-shotty people ones on Facebook (just to make things difficult =P )

I need a job, so if you know somewhere in Vancouver that is hiring for the summer and will let me continue part time in the fall, give me a shout!

Otherwise, I'm trying to find a spot to hang my hammock in my living room because I'm not ready to give up the Free and Easy lifestyle just yet!

And for those of you wondering, Thailand is an AMAZING country. I loved the people, the sand, the temples, the tuktuks, the respect for their king, the malls, the markets, the money, the prices, the food, the cute kids, the elephants, the monkeys, the crazy toilets, the party buses, the butterflies, the flowers, the mangoes, the crazy Thai fruit, the Coke in bottles, and more... It was just amazing. I have to get back there ASAP! If you haven't been, put it at the top of your list. I still can't believe people live their whole lives without seeing Thailand.

Pictures to follow!

I leave in 30 minutes for Thailand!

We're gone until June 5th. :D

I will be taking LOTS (and lots and lots and lots) of pictures, so expect massive amounts of those when I return.

Hope everyone is well and see you in a couple of months!
